Today I came across a feature of Google which I am sure many of us does not know. I was searching for something when I noticed a link at the lower left side of the screen which says Standard View. I clicked on it and was shown two more options. One of which was WONDER WHEEL. I clicked on it and was amazed that my search is grouped now into categories! Cool!
I introduced Weebly to my students two weeks ago and now they have made their own sites! They were so excited with creating the sites and putting personal touches on them. Most of them even make extra effort of doing the websites at home!
But what really amazes me is how some of them are able to express themselves in their blogs. They are quite vocal about their thoughts and feelings. I think they are also excited with the thought that others will be able to read their works and comment on them. I am so looking forward to reading t NESA CONFERENCE When you have been teaching for more than a decade, you tend to curl up in your own comfort zone and resist change. Change means you have to begin and start learning again. Change means more work. But teaching is a learning process and whether we like it or not, it is continuously changing.
Attending the NESA Conferences keeps me open to those changes. Each time, I learn new thing, new methods and new technologies. It is always an eye opener, There presenters were wonderful: they unselfishly shared their knowledge and expertise. It will definitely be satisfying to go back to school and share everything I have learned! I can't wait! |
